Two things that make July unique are the many concerts and fruits. I have been eating a lot of fruits lately and making homemade smoothies. Do like a Milanese and enjoy summer vegetables all through July. Forest berries, wild blueberries, apricots, and melons are in bloom. You can survive the summer heat with fresh juices from fruits and prosciutto – that do not require any cooking whatsoever.
As you may already know, July is a very busy month in Milan as there will be a lot of concerts. For this month, I have handpicked some events happening in Milan that may pique your interest.
Here are my recommendations for Events in July
Join the conferences, concerts, recitals, and guided tours of Milano Arte Musica – International Festival of Ancient Music in different locations of the city.
For an opportunity to see a movie under the stars, partake in the Arianteo open-air cinema organized by the Space Cinema for several days. See more details here
Check out the various concerts by laVerdi. With Symphonic Beatles Mania playing on the 5th of July.
Enjoy the fourth edition of the Milano Latin Festival, dedicated to Latin American culture in Assago. The programme includes photo exhibitions, music, dancing, concerts, animation, cultural initiatives and vernissages.
Go dance, dance, dance at the Tomorrowland at Parco di Monza music festival. Monza is pretty near to Milan so its highly worth the recommendation.
See the three new exhibitions at the Palazzo Reale, dedicated to three protagonists of contemporary art: Alik Cavaliere, Pino Pinell, and Agostino Bonalumi.
Keep fit, uncover Milan at night and make new acquaintances at the 100km Bike Night Milano-Lago Maggiore ride.
Go release some adrenaline and cheer for your favourite at the Milan Rally Show. The show is a car competition opened to the public.
Enjoy the open-air Villa Arconati Music Festival 2018 against the backdrop of the villa Bollate. It will feature Graham Nash, Noa, Chick Corea and Gogol Bordello.
JAY-Z and Beyonce’s OTR II Tour 2018 is coming up on July 6th at the San Siro Stadium.
Eminem will be in Italy for the first time on July 7th at the EXPerience Park Milano for the Eminem Revival Tour 2018. Unfortunately, the tickets are presently sold out.
